Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, it received a raving review from both music bloggers as well as from the media. The artist has already released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. This brought her some recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only for fun or to aid in growing, but that she was encouraged to pursue it. They advised her to compose. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork as her main influences. She decided to start performing her music in public when her mom suggested they might help others not be famous with her work, but instead help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began making music when she was 9 years old. The family did not know about this until she turned fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
