Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5 1998. She has 12 WTA titles in her career. This includes that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte, and she won Majors in both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were together with Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of two majors, the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing what is known as the Sunshine Double. Just four pairs of women's tennis had achieved this feat. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her highest ranking was again reached in the month of January in 2023. However, in doubles she moved up to the top spot after her victory at Melbourne that following year. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and 2019 as well as a portion of the early 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
